Extreme detail
Is it possible to show all details of extremely large images on the internet?
yes, by using a tiling technique that is common to show maps.
In this serie 3 examples of many of the extreme detailed panorama’s I have made.
Centraal Station Arnhem
A very detailed 360º panorama of this remarkable railway station in the Netherlands.
Moment of capture was the last inspection before opening.
The panorama is composed using 500 8K images and many techniques are used;
Focus-shifting to see sharp at al distances, HDR to show the dark and the clouds in the photo and panorama stitching. A print was made 9 meters wide. (click on the image to see all detail)
The Amsterdam Zuid-as (South-axis) is the most expensive office area in the Netherlands.
Just like anywhere else in the world the area stopped expanding after 2008 due to the banking crisis. The meadow shown was used for all sorts of things; playing tennis, a herb garden for a restaurant and much more.
Now in 2026 the meadow is completly built with offices and houses.(click the image to see all detail)

The factory is half dismantled. The enormous gas pipes have been taken out leaving many round holes in the floors.
